Pre-starts
Every machine checked, every morning — and you can prove it.
A pre-start book in the cab proves nothing when it's wet, lost, or in a machine forty k's away. Lintelo puts the pre-start on the operator's phone and the whole fleet's answers in one register at the office.
Watch how pre-starts and plant work (1:19) — narrated, sound on.
Tick it before you turn the key
The operator opens the app at the machine and works through the checks. A pass is a green tick in the register. A fail flags the machine with a photo — and raises its own work order, with the machine, the operator and the fault attached. A tracked defect instead of a verbal maybe.
At the office you see the day at a glance: done, failed, and — just as important — not done yet. The machines with no check today stand out before they become the machine with no check this month.
Part of the fleet story, not a separate app
Pre-starts live beside the rest of the machine's record: rego and service countdowns, hours, true cost per hour, and what it's working on today. Service due dates count down in engine hours, and the machine card holds the lot — so the question "is the roller right to send out Monday?" has one answer, in one place.
Fair questions
Does the pre-start work with no reception?
Yes — checks are filled in offline and sync when the phone finds signal, the same as dockets and sign-ons in the Lintelo crew app.
What happens when an operator fails an item?
The fail flags the machine with a photo and automatically raises a work order carrying the machine, operator and fault. It lands in the office's queue rather than in someone's memory.
Can I see who hasn't done their pre-start?
Yes. The office register shows done, failed and no-check-today for the whole fleet, live, so the gap is visible the same morning — not at audit time.
Is this included in the base plan?
Yes — pre-starts are in every Lintelo plan, including Crew at $449/month flat. A daily safety check shouldn't be a paid extra.
