Do a pre-start

A pre-start is the daily once-over of your machine before you run it. It takes a minute and it’s on record that you did it.

After you sign on, the app prompts you for the pre-start on the machine you’re assigned to.
Walk around the machine and tick each check as you go.
If something’s not right, flag the defect and add a photo — the office sees it straight away and can raise a work order.
Finish, and you’re clear to start your docket.

Careful

If your company requires a pre-start, you’ll need to complete it before the docket opens. Found a serious defect? Flag it — don’t run the machine.
